 Shambhala DayMon February 11th: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM Suggested Donation: $10.00 The Philadelphia Shambhala cordially invites you to celebrate The Year of the Water Snake Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the Tibetan New Year, and represents one of the most important traditions of Shambhala Buddhism. It is a time for us to express the wealth and richness of our spiritual and cultural heritage through feasting, conviviality, elegance, and pomp. Each year, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche addresses the worldwide Shambhala community through a video hook-up that includes centers and groups from 5 continents and over 25 countries around the world.
